INSULATION SERVICES

Elasto-Flex offers only the best in insulation. LAMBDABOARD is a flexible faced Polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board made on a continuous laminator. The polyisocyanurate cored insulation uses a hydrocarbon-based blowing agent which has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and complies with Kyoto Protocol regarding Global Warming Potential (GWP). LAMBDABOARD insulation is the answer to HCFC and HFC free insulation. LAMBDABOARD has the highest R-value per 25mm thickness, therefore the design U-value of the insulation system can be achieved with a minimum thickness. This in turn allows the overall footprint of the building to decrease and reduces the cost of construction. There are numerous ways to Install LAMBDABOARD: vertical cladding, under screed, cavity walls, curtain wall, ceilings, under sofit. Insulation can be spray applied directly onto the substrate using SPF spray polyurethane foam system with all the same benefits. The spray application is applied through our partners. |

Elasto-Flex offers liquid and spray applied pure polyurea systems. Both offer a highly flexible seamless coating. It’s very fast reactivity and curing allows for almost immediate return-to-service time. Pure Polyurea is applicable in temperatures from -15˚c to 70˚c and performs in temperatures from -30˚c to 100˚c. Polyurea is 100% solids with zero VOC (volatile organic compounds, Loss of thickness between WFT and DFT). This means a fast safer environment. Polyurea is used for many applications such as, protective coatings, tank coatings/linings, bridge coatings, roof coatings & gutter linings, truck bed lining, industrial structures, power plants and more. |

Shrinkage and Blistering Shrinkage is caused when the roof membrane (the stuff under the tiles or shingles) shrinks, most often causing cracks or crazing in the upper layer. Ventilation Roof ventilation is an integral part of making a roof last, and occurs naturally when vents are placed at the base of the roof (at the eaves or in the soffits) and near the top of the roof (the ridge) so that warm air can leave through the top, and cool air can be drawn through the bottom. Since warm air naturally rises, no mechanical process is necessary to create this air movement. Adequate ventilation regulates temperature and moisture levels under the roof tiles. Left unchecked, heat and moisture can build up causing damage to rafters, sheathing, shingles, insulation, and raising energy costs. It may also lead to some ugly mold and mildew problems. |
